Had a decent round going today. Ruined by a terrible finish! Upside is that I’m inside and warm and have tomorrow to get those shots back!
Stacy Lewis and Brittany Lincicome practiced their fishing skills instead of their golfing ones yesterday. Due to a foot of rain that fell on Paradise Island Monday, the course is holding significant water. Crews have been working non-stop to get the course back in playing shape. The event has been reduced to a 54-hole event and play is expected to begin on Friday

Played decent today, didn’t hole much and watched a decent shot to the last come up short in the water. Usual day at Wentworth for me, 74!! Gotta go lower tomorrow…
Join us in wishing Morgan Pressel a very happy birthday!

The Countdown to Merion continues: 22 days to the 113th U.S. Open. Our 91st champion was Payne Stewart, who opened with a 67 and shared or held the lead after each round before eventually making a late comeback to defeat Scott Simpson in a Monday playoff and capture the 1991 U.S. Open. Stewart trailed Simpson by a shot heading to the 72nd hole of regulation before a Simpson bogey tied things up. Stewart would once again trail late on Monday, and stood on the 16th tee three shots behind Simpson. He would play the final three holes in one-under par to top Simpson by two and claim his first of two U.S. Open titles.

If PGA TOUR pros are lucky they will find a course that fits their game perfectly. For Zach Johnson, that course just might be Colonial. Column: http://pgat.us/6038kKXp
